You can choose the top three mermaid gowns for my 'ember'/christmas collection

Hi everyone.... today am going to be seeking the opinion of my wonderful readers on the selection of the three beautiful mermaid ( fish-tail) silhouette(style) of wedding dresses out of five am going to be showing you. Recently, i have noticed that 8 out of 10 brides who walk into my bridal boutique, always request for the mermaid style of wedding dress.so, i have decided to add three into my collection for the 'ember brides'.. so please look carefully at the front and back of the dresses am gonna be showing and choose your top three.

Gown 1
This is a mermaid/fishtail/trumpet style gown with a very modest 3/4 sleeve and a satin sash which can still be white color if requested otherwise. it has a lace/corset type of back. its suitable for any church wedding and reception.

Gown 2
This mermaid above is made of satin and ace with embroidery and beading. it has a zipper at the back of the wedding dress.

Gown3

This wedding dress is made of taffeta material and has a straight strapless- neckline.Very simple but it has beadings around the side burst area down to the rib side and beadings around the thigh region.
I decided to add this gown because if a bride wants an inner wear of any kind to go with it, she can conveniently wear it with this gown. It has a corset/lace back.

Gown4

i personally love this gown number four because the flare or fish tail nature is so obvious down below. its made of lace, organza and satin. its a one-shoulder wedding dress with a beaded sash/belt on the waist line.

Gown 5
Gown 5 is absolutely a stunning mermaid gown..yes i know! its made of tulle and lace. very fit to flare with a sliver sash waistline...

PLEASE PICK THREE OUT OF THE FIVE WEDDING DRESS THAT YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE IN MY CHRISTMAS/ EMBER  COLLECTION. LEAVE COMMENTS AT THE COMMENT BOX ON THE BLOG

How to look pounds slimmer on your wedding day - Wedding Tips

Every bride wants to look fabulous for her wedding day but with all the wedding planning stress, sometimes this is tough as you find it difficult to keep up with a regular workout regimen.
But today, WeddingsByMelB will be giving you a few short cuts on how to look 'trimmed' in your wedding dress without hitting the gym everyday or driving yourself crazy with diet fads.

  1. Flatter your Figure: Though when alterations are done, they help flatter your best assets and camouflage your not-so-cool spots. Trying to hide your hips,  you can opt for  a romantic empire waist line wedding dress or a strapless full_ skirted  wedding dress

A full skirted wedding dress with a strapless neckline..... Good option to hide the flabs.

And if you think your tummy  is on the big side and you thinking of sucking it in, you can go for a corseted ball gown  for its a great option to show off your bust and make your waist very slim, hide your thighs and also hips too.

And for those with curves and are wanting to flaunt them, a mermaid style option will be the best bet
Then a good bet for every body type is the A-line silhouette  which fits the bust and waist with a skirt that gently flares out from the hips

    2. Get a good support system: Under garments that help a bride  most, are spanxs. They are light weight, breathable and come in tons of sizes and colors. They are also available in different materials. Spanx act as undergarments that cling firmly to your belly.. giving it a firmer and flattering look for your wedding dress. invest on spanx today and you wont regret it

    2.  Give your height a boost: wearing heels are one of the most simplest ways of appearing slimmer on your wedding day. think about it! say you are  five feet five inches and you weigh 65 kg. But put a two- inch shoe, and suddenly you are  suddenly five feet, sevem inches taller but still weighing 65kg. its not only about having longer legs but actually tricking the eye into reapportioning your weight over a taller frame.

its also best you wear peep-toe balanced heels on your wedding day so your feet can breathe and you would be very comfortable....

For the Grooms- Suits and Tuxedos

Hey Grooms, its your turn to shine as we will be talking about suits and tuxedos. Well, you may be wondering we mean..... Hmmmm
Suits do not incorporate any satin in their lapels and suits usually have plastic buttons or buttons faced with the same fabric as the coat.
While Tuxedos have satin facing on their lapels, buttons, pocket trim and sometimes a satin side on the trouser. Do you see the above picture, the difference between the tuxedo with a satin lapel and a suit without a satin lapel?
As for accessories,Tuxedos are worn with bow ties.

While suits are worn with long ties

Now regarding which is best to wear for a wedding, that has less to do with the physical appearance more than messages. A suit with a long tie may make you look daper and cool but remember you can also wear this to the office.S o it makes no difference as someother men may even wear just exactly what you are wearing to your wedding. *eyes rolling*

So for your wedding, wear something that sets you apart from others. That's were the 'TUXEDO' come in. A Tuxedo and a bow tie says more than just a suit and tie.

Please grooms, try to look dapper and different. Get a tuxedo today and accessorize with a bow tie for your wedding day and i assure you,you wont regret it when your wedding photo album arrives *winks*
Cheers...

Body Shapes And Wedding Dresses

its best ladies know about their body shapes or types so that they can choose the right silhouette of any wedding dress we love.we have four major body types they are:

1. The Hourglass Shaped Bride:  This shape is popularly called the 'figure8' shape.The hourglass is one were your hips and shoulders are similar in shape with your well defined waist. wedding dress silhouettes such as;

A mermaid gown by vera wang worn by kim kardashian

A ball gown

An example of a sheath gown
The sheath gown will show off your figure in a streamlined manner from shoulder to toe
The mermaid gown gives you a curvy fit and flare and plays with figure in all the right places.
The ball gown for a hourglass lady, has a structured bodice that gives ur tummy a flatter look.

2. The Pear Shaped Bride: This is a shape where the hip measurement is greater than the burst.Women with this shape relatively have larger rear,thicker thighs and smaller boobs. wedding dress silhouettes perfect for the pear shaped bride include;

A-line wedding dress with an empire waist line
A-line wedding dresses are the most flattering for brides with pear shape figure as it skims over the large hips and bums.

The Apple Shaped Bride: The apple shaped brides have broader shoulders compared to their narrower hips. Apple shaped bides tend to have slim legs and thighs while their abdomen and chest look larger.
Wedding gown silhouettes such as Aline empire waistline and ball gowns would look perfect for this bride.

Necklines such as strapless and sweetheart, also go well for this type of bride.

The Banana Shaped Bride: This is the thinner bride with a small waist line. She is considered as straight with no curves....But not to worry there are gowns for you.  see some pics after the cut
